How It Works About FAQ Free Audit
Straight answers

Every question owners ask, answered straight.

The real questions owners ask before hiring NorthFork, answered the way I would answer them on the phone.

Most NorthFork services run between $250 and $750 a month, with one-time builds from $300 to $2,300, and every price is published before work starts. That range covers AI automations, websites, and local search care for Cowlitz and Clark county businesses. The free audit tells you which piece, if any, is worth your money first.

Money first

Pricing and Contracts

01
Why do you publish your prices?

Because hiding them is a sales tactic, not a service. Published prices mean you can rule me in or out before we ever talk, and it keeps me honest about what the work is worth.

What payment terms do you offer?

Quotes come in writing and invoices follow the schedule in the quote. Monthly plans bill monthly, with no surprise fees. The discounted $600 starter site requires a six to twelve month care subscription, which is stated up front.

Are there contracts or minimums?

Some plans carry minimums because the work needs time to show results: six months for the SEO Growth Plan, three months for social and the advisor retainer. Everything else is stated in the quote. No evergreen lock-ins hidden in fine print.

The automations

AI Automations

02
What should my business automate first?

Usually the leak that costs the most money with the least build: missed-call text-back or speed-to-lead follow-up. If it is genuinely unclear, the $250 a month advisor retainer maps your operation and hands you an ROI-ranked roadmap.

Does someone review what the AI does?

Yes. Every automation is configured and reviewed by a human before it goes live, and anything AI writes that your customers will see gets your approval first. That is policy, not a favor.

What happens if an automation breaks?

You call me and I fix it. Ongoing plans include monitoring and tuning, and response-time commitments are in writing. You are never filing a ticket into the void.

Getting found

Websites, Google and Local SEO

03
What is the Google map pack and why does it matter?

It is the box of three local businesses Google shows above the regular results, and it gets the lion’s share of local clicks and calls. Getting into it is the highest-ROI marketing move a local service business can make.

Do I own my website and Google listing?

Yes, completely. Once paid for, your site, content, domain, and accounts are yours. If we part ways you keep everything. No hostage-taking, and it is in the legal policy in plain English.

My Google listing has wrong info or got suspended. Can that be fixed?

Usually, yes. Suspensions, duplicates, wrong categories, and bad hours are common and fixable. A profile cleanup runs $300 to $750 and is often the fastest way to get calls flowing again.

The relationship

Working Together

04
Who actually does the work?

The founder. NorthFork is founder-run on purpose: the person who scopes your project builds it, reports on it, and answers the phone about it. AI handles the busywork. Judgment stays human.

How many clients do you take on?

A few new clients a month, deliberately. Founder-run means capacity is real, and taking on more than I can service well would break the whole point of the model.

What does the free audit include?

A short video walking through your listing, site, and lead handling, naming the two or three things costing you calls, with prices for fixing them. No obligation, and it is credited toward your first paid service.
